Rabbit Jones loves old stuff. Thrift shopping is one of my favorite past-times, it provides a sustainable, affordable way to decorate your body and home, plus you get really amazing deals on items that are typically better made and look more interesting than the new stuff you buy today. I would estimate that 75% of my possessions are second-hand. I'd like to shift that to 100%. I love old stuff.
I'm chronically ill, so it's rare for me to feel well enough to go thrifting or antiquing. An alternative activity I can do from the bed is "researching" online. My favorite site to do this on is Etsy, although you really have to dig around because it's been overrun with dropshippers and spam (just like everything else online). The hunt is part of the fun! Don't be alarmed by the prices, stuff tends to have a huge markup online. I often find something for 1/10th of the price in real life. Plus, every once in a while you do find something that is a reasonable price, and if you don't want to wait to find it in the wild, you can snatch it up!
